"Instant, Reliable Answers with Effortless Citations"
What do you like best about Perplexity?

I like best about Perplexity is its ability to provide concise, well-referenced answers instantly. It combines the speed of an AI assistant with the reliability of real web sources, making it perfect for quick research or fact-checking. I also appreciate its clean interface and built-in citation system, which makes verifying information effortless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Perplexity?

I dislike about Perplexity is that it sometimes lacks depth or contextual understanding in longer or more complex queries. While it’s great for quick answers, it occasionally gives surface-level explanations or repeats information from sources without deeper analysis. Additionally, customization options and conversation continuity could be improved to make it more flexible for power users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Clear Answers with Trustworthy Sources"
What do you like best about Perplexity?

What I like best about Perplexity is that it gives fast, clear answers while showing the sources behind them, which makes the information feel trustworthy.

It also saves time by combining search and summarization in one place, so I can get to the point without digging through lots of tabs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Perplexity?

What I dislike about Perplexity is that it can sometimes be shallow on complex topics and still produce occasional inaccuracies, so I have to verify important details myself.

It can also feel a bit limited in personalization and creativity compared with tools that are better for long, nuanced conversations or writing tasks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perplexity Max: Deep Research, Great UI, and Powerful Model Aggregation"
What do you like best about Perplexity?

Perplexity doesn’t just have one model; it works more like a model aggregator with citations, and it almost feels too good to be true when I’m doing research. The Deep Research and Apps feature (it was Labs at first) are really useful, the UI looks amazing, and the latest computer update is what convinced me to get the Max subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Perplexity?

Sometimes the citations aren’t accurate, and since its USP was delivering accurate results, it can end up hallucinating too much. The live data integration also doesn’t make it feel unique anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Source-Backed Answers That Make Research Easy"
What do you like best about Perplexity?

What I like best about Perplexity is that it gives fast answers with sources attached, so I can trust what I’m reading and check it myself. It feels like a search engine and an AI assistant working together instead of making me dig through a bunch of tabs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Perplexity?

What I dislike most about Perplexity is that it can still be shallow or repetitive on harder questions, even when the answer looks polished. It’s great for fast research, but you still have to double-check facts because AI tools can make mistakes or oversimplify complex topics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perplexity Pro Delivers Detailed, Terrific Results with Smart AI Filtering"
What do you like best about Perplexity?

Perplexity is awesome! It does a terrific job locating and filtering information using the different AI algorithms currently available. You can set up recurring tasks and have it email you results for financial stocks, shopping, or whatever topic you want it to send. The responses are very detailed, and it does an even better job the more information and background you provide. I use the Pro plan and consistently get terrific results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Perplexity?

I’m having a hard time coming up with anything negative. It does a lot of things other tools don’t, and it can either choose the best AI tool for the job automatically or let me pick which one to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perplexity: Stay away, false claims, from 600 deep searches/day down to 20/month!"
What do you like best about Perplexity?

NOTHING!!!

Forget everything I wrote below, it's public nowadays, they changed their policies, they got issues, they put Sam AI Agent to reply to support requests without fixing anything, they reduced the usage to absurd low limits, Deep researches from 600/day down to 20/month!!!! They offered one free year, from their partnerships, then they forced to add a valid payment method to keep the "free trial", yes, they changed the offer to a free trial. And then they banned accounts claiming fake reasons, and leaving no ways to appeal, they destroyed/terminated my account too.

The online documentation hasn't changed, they still claim the same unlimited usage as always, which is misleading.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Perplexity has quickly become my go-to powerhouse for AI-driven research, discovery, and productivity. The range of advanced language models it offers is astounding. I can easily switch between Sonar for deep search and research, or access major LLMs like GPT-5/Thinking, Claude/Thinking, Claude, Grok and Gemini. There are even specialized models designed for quick, focused responses. This kind of flexibility means I always have the right tool, whether I’m diving into a full analysis, brainstorming creatively, or just need a lightning-fast summary.

Perplexity Spaces takes things even further. They let me create, share, and reuse mini apps or workflows for any topic or project. Whether I'm working solo or collaborating with others, Spaces make it easy to generate content, extract data in real time, and conduct interactive research all in one unified environment. I especially appreciate how Spaces foster community-driven expertise and give me the freedom to build tools that are personalized to what I care about most.

The global context Perplexity brings in is another standout feature. It doesn’t just respond to questions; it taps into global news, trending topics, technical documentation, and niche interests from around the world. Endless possibilities for learning and exploration! The mobile app is just as impressive. It’s fast, intuitive, and fully synced with the desktop version, so I can pick up where I left off no matter which device I'm using. I never lose track of conversations, saved insights, or ongoing projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Perplexity?

EVERYTHING IS BAD ABOUT THIS COMPANY.

It’s hard to find complaints with this level of versatility. Occasionally, the sheer depth of options can feel overwhelming, especially with so many models and Spaces to explore. Still, that’s a small downside considering the possibilities it unlocks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great model choice and new features, but answer quality can miss on specifics"
What do you like best about Perplexity?

Unlike other Gen AIs, Perplexity gives you access to a range of different models, which helps you get a more targeted solution that better matches what you’re expecting for your problems. It also feels like a bit of a first mover when it comes to adding new features, and that’s another thing I really like about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Perplexity?

One downside I’ve noticed with Perplexity is the quality of its answers compared to other alternative Gen AIs. If you’re looking for a general, medium-level response, it usually delivers. However, when you need something more specific or detailed, it can fall short and may not provide exactly what you’re asking for. In those cases, you often have to write more precise prompts to get closer to the result you want. That said, I think Perplexity can improve by addressing this issue and better handling requests that require more specificity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Clear, Sourced Answers—Perplexity Feels Like a Smart Research Assistant"
What do you like best about Perplexity?

What I like most about Perplexity is how quickly it gets to the point clear, sourced, and genuinely useful. It saves a lot of time when I’m researching or validating information, especially when accuracy matters. The experience feels less like “searching” and more like having a smart research assistant who understands context. Simple, fast, and effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Perplexity?

At times, I find myself wishing for a bit more depth or customization in how results are presented, especially when I’m looking into very niche or complex topics. Still, that same simplicity is also what makes Perplexity feel so fast and easy to use, so I see it more as an opportunity for the product to evolve than as a real limitation. "All Top AI Models in One Subscription"
What do you like best about Perplexity?

As a daily power user, Perplexity has become essential to my workflow, not because of any single feature, but because it gives me access to all the leading AI models under one subscription.

Instead of juggling multiple AI subscriptions, I can switch between different models depending on my needs. Some excel at research and analysis, others at creative writing, and others at coding or image generation. Having this flexibility means I always use the best tool for each task without switching platforms or managing multiple accounts.

I use Perplexity for quick research with citations, writing assistance, technical problem-solving, and staying current on industry trends. The cited sources give me confidence in the accuracy, and the conversational interface makes complex queries feel natural.

What I love most is the voice conversation feature on my iPhone—having the entire internet just a voice away with instant responses has changed how I get information on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Perplexity?

Nothing really. It’s my go to AI platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Low-Friction Search That Turns Vague Questions into Sourced Overviews"
What do you like best about Perplexity?

Search-first mindset. It’s really good at turning a vague question into a clean, sourced overview without making you dig through ten tabs.

Fast sense-making. It summarizes the state of the world on a topic instead of just explaining a concept in the abstract.

Low friction. Ask a question, get an answer with links—no prompt gymnastics required.

Good for verification. When you already have a hunch and want to confirm it, Perplexity shines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Perplexity?

Surface-level confidence. Sometimes it gives a very clean, authoritative answer that’s technically sourced… but still a bit shallow or missing nuance. It can feel “correct but incomplete.”

Citation ≠ truth. The presence of sources can create a false sense of certainty. If the sources are mid, outdated, or all echoing the same assumption, the answer inherits that bias.

Weak at synthesis. It’s great at finding info, less great at thinking with it. Complex tradeoffs, original framing, or creative leaps aren’t its strong suit.

Over-summarization. It sometimes smooths things so much that disagreements, uncertainty, or minority views disappear.

Prompt rigidity. Compared to more conversational assistants, it can feel a bit stiff—you ask, it answers, end of story. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
